Vote Asheville!

There is a constant challenge in connecting with and turning out young and working class people to vote in elections. Staying informed and up-to-date with registration information can be difficult for people busy with work obligations. When you include the obstacles that gerrymandering and voter suppression create, its obvious why this section of the electorate has lowered participation. Vote Asheville was a project born of the radical notion that we should make it easier, not harder to vote.

Synergetic Strategies was proud to direct outreach for this non-partisan effort sponsored by Asheville’s local Independent Business Alliance to increase voter turnout in Western North Carolina by lowering barriers to participation. Worked directly with business owners to encourage their employees to register, educate themselves, and provide time during their shift to go vote. Responsible for budget, identifying community partners, and organizing volunteer committees.
